The game started with #12 Chuck Czerkawski winning one of his 25 face-offs on the night, which helped the Outlaws score early and often!  The first strike was just 2:40 seconds into the game when #25 Chris Koho received a nice pass and snuck one by Copperheads goaltender, #00 Terry Roberts.  At that moment the flood gates opened for the Outlaws as their strong defense was only outmatched by their precise offense.  Chicago went on to score 8 more goals that quarter, heading into the first intermission leading 9-0.

The 2nd quarter started off much different as the goaltenders seemed to find their stride. 6:23 into the quarter, John Douglas III scored the Copperheads first goal of the 2016 season.  It was one of 3 goals scored by Douglass III that night.  While Circle City controlled the first part of the quarter, Chicago was quick to answer with 4 goals of their own.  Heading into the half, it was Outlaws 13 Copperheads 2.

The 3rd was all Chicago all the time.  Just :28 into the second half, #19 Ben McDougal found Koho for his second goal of the night.  The Outlaws would go on to score 9 more goals in the 3rd while holding the Copperheads scoreless.  The game headed into the 4th as the Outlaws has a commanding 23-2 lead.  But Circle City did not quit as they entered the 4th quarter with 2 goals in less than 1-minute.  Chicago did answer back quickly and that seemed to deflate the momentum the Copperheads had gained.  Final Score was Outlaws 25 Coperheads 5
